Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals 6-29-16 Red Butte Garden SLC

Here’s my poster for the Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals live at Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City Utah 6-29-16. It’s a 4-color silk screened poster measuring 23″ w X 13″ h limited edition of 110.

The imagery used for the poster is from a photo I took of Lake Mary. A couple years ago we moved our family into downtown salt lake city in hopes of being able to get out to nature more. One day my daughter Zoe came home from summer camp and said that she saw the most beautiful lake where we go snowboarding in the winter and she had to show us. My daughter lead the way as we hiked up the trail to Lake Mary at Brighton. In the past my daughter would never get excited about anything in nature so this had to be one special place for her to want to take us up to see it. It was one of those hikes that warmed my heart.

When I’m designing posters for bands playing in utah I bring in elements of what utah means to me…nature, friends, family, and some great tunes that dances with the crackle of the fire under the stars at night.

Here are a couple photos from our hike:
