Art Institute of Pittsburgh 1993-95
In 1993 I left Ohio and headed to college at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. For awhile I lived in the dorms at Point Park College that was located on Blvd of the Allies where I was mixed in with drunk english majors and ballerinas. I got a part time job dishwashing and cooking at a restaurant that was down the street called “Tramps” (pic above of “Tramps” with some of my art in the window). While I was at school I got way into photography and for my advertising classes I would watercolor stats and overlay the text and logo films (portfolio examples above). My favorite teachers at the school were Flavia Zortea and Angelo Ciotti that taught me a great deal about art and design.
